Wooooow. I really didn’t think that the writers would be able to top off last years finale. But they did. The last 10 minutes seemed to be getting a bit mushy… a little bit soft, but then when THAT THING at the end happened, it took me completely by surprise

But what will happen now that they’re (possibly) getting together? I remember saying that a year ago about the Season 2 finale almost a year ago. The combination of last week’s episode and this week’s episode has reminded me why this is the best show on television.
But the big question now is what will happen if/when (it’s just a date) they get together. They might be able to possibly change the entire style of the relationship and make it like a Turk/Carla relationship like on Scrubs, but I highly doubt it. I mean, it seems almost impossible to get out of this one – Jim and Pam will almost certainly have to get together. I’m really glad that they’re not stretching out the show’s storyline to last more seasons, but then we’re left to wonder what’s going to happen for the next 2 seasons…
On another note, the double episode tonight overall was hilarious. The New York scenes were great, and Michael running back and forth between his meeting with Jan and the rest of the “girls” was awesome. But now they expect us to wait 4 more months to find out what happens next with Jim and Pam? I can’t wait that long!
And finally, Ryan getting the job at the end was a great way to end it. They had to give it to someone and Ryan is pretty qualified. Poor Kelly, though. He was just like “It’s over.”
