SW Original Trilogy Unaltered DVDs

Well, they come out September 12th, the original unaltered versions of the original trilogy along with the 2004 DVD new versions. I’ll probably get it, most likely for my birthday, mostly because I think I’ve scratched the best scene from ROTJ out on the 2004 DVDs, and these covers look nicer. We’ll see.

Anway, it will be pretty cool to see the original versions side-by-side with the new ones. I wonder how the original climax battle of ANH will look before all of the digital shots added in…

    I just don’t get this. You’ve seen these movies over and over again. You’ve memorized the lines to most of the movies even. And I thought you already had them all on DVD/VHS. What is the point of buying the same thing that you’ve seen countless times again for $60? Why don’t you just get something of worth…like money, which you can save.
