I FINALLY convinced my mom to take me to see episode 3 again - but she went in not expecting to like it.
And she came out liking it! I was surprised she liked at as she is normally the one who points out “It’s all fake!” and “He’s such a bad actor!”
Next weekend Dad is probably going to take me and Aaron to see it again!

Hi Austen,
Linda and I saw it this weekend, and we both loved it. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for the first 20 minutes. Grandpa Bob was asking us about the appeal of the series last night (he’s not going to get it) because he thinks its real interesting that it should have such an attraction to your young generation, and us old baby boomers.
For us, this Ep III gives so much closure to the saga that has been with us all of our adult lives. SLATE magazine puts it well:
“The key is that Revenge of the Sith is not just the conclusion to one cycle, but the prelude to … 1977 and the summer blockbuster that would change pop culture. Those humorless Jedi get picked off; the lean, hard, visuals of the Empire ships reappear; and John Williams’ old musical motifs creep back in…..
But it’s worth doffing our beanies to a man who wouldn’t settle for Flash Gordon—who was driven to turn a Saturday-matinee space serial into something that needed the combined forces of Milton and Shakespeare to do it full justice.
Plus, its a great movie all on its own.
