Great B-Side: Quixoticelixer

I hope I spelled that right…

Quixoticelixer is an awesome b-side off of the Red Hot Chili Peppers album Californication. And with Grooveshark’s new embeddable player, I can play it right here in the player below.

It’s the type of song that grows on you over time.

Thats a good song. I brought RHCP’s Californication on our Hawaii reunion in 2001, and it was met with a great deal of derision by your parents. Their chief argument as I recall was that it wasn’t Springsteen.

I think you are using the term “B Side” to refer to bonus tracks on the CD. The term has its origins as the throw-away side of a vinyl single. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-side_and_B-side

Of course record companies don’t release vinyl singles anymore, do they? My first ever music purchase was the Beatles single “I Want to Hold Your Hand” with B-side “I Saw Her Standing There”.
