Coriolanus Sonnet

Just a little thing that I had to do for homework on the play Corilanus by Shakespeare.

(a sonnet is a type of poem)

Coriolanus Sonnet

They banished me without any pity

It’s hard to accept, so I am not fine

They called me a traitor and enemy

They wouldn’t even let me take some wine

Revenge is what I need, I need it bad

So now I go, but where to I don’t know

I think of the things that I used to have

But now they all are gone with one big blow

I miss my wife and I really want her

But she’s such a wimp that she wouldn’t come

My life is broken and my future blurred

So now I go to meet my enemy
