Here’s the camera I want to get with the $250 plus $30 plus my own saved up money:

Canon PowerShot SD700 IS
4x zoom, 6 megapixels, takes SD memory cards (2GB for only $50), 2.5 inch LCD screen, viewfinder, movie mode with sound, etc.
That’s all for now!

Good choice Austen…its got the exact features I’m looking for in my next camera. Optical image stabilization, SD card storage, low light capable, optical viewfinder, and VGA movie capture. enjoy!

Where are you going to get the SD card? Online? Big stores?
Nice! How’s the battery life? I used to have a PowerShot S100 and I found the battery life was terrible. I had to replace the battery pack a few times taking less than 100 pictures. I have an A75 now and I find the battery life a lot better. I can take about 500 pictures on a set of rechargeable AAs. I do prefer SD cards to CF, though, and it’s bigger & bulkier than the S- series PowerShots.
