Yay! We’re back! The best thing about having a vacation at the beginning of the summer is that you’re not dreading the end. Sure, you don’t want to leave but at least you don’t have the return to school looming over your head like what happens every year when we go to Maine. But now, there’s an entire summer to look forward to!
Anyway, back to Colorado. We had a great time. I have 58 photos (edited down from over 100) that are tagged and described, including one awesome Panorama avaiable on Flickr. Enjoy all of them!

Also, a side note: I saw 5 movies over the course of the trip. It’s surprising, but there wasn’t much else to do when up at the Inn besides reading and hiking. They also had a great collection of movies. Anyway, I saw: Breach, Eragon, Ice Age 2, Die Another Day, and Ocean’s 12. Breach was good, Eragon made me want to gag, Ice Age 2 was great, Die Another Day was typical Bond, and Ocean’s 12 was okay.
The flight back from Colorado has been delayed by 2 hours, meaning that we getting back until after midnight tonight. Oh god, less than a minute left on the crappy internet booth in the airport.
Expect a full post with pics tommorow!!! Gotta go!
We’re about to leave for Boulder, Colorado for my mom’s 25th anniversary college reunion! I’ll be there until late next Wednesday night. In case the new header on top didn’t give it away, I’m very excited!
Pictured at left are one of the flatirons of the Rocky Mountains which “can be seen from anywhere in Boulder when you look up” according to my mom. The picture was taken by joiseyshowaa on Flickr.
I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures, AND heavily edit them as not to bore you.
I’ve recently started drinking coffee, not daily but a couple of times a week. But then it started getting hot outside, and I started drinking Iced Coffee!!! (Thanks Dad)
Sure, regular coffee is great. But I don’t want to have a steaming cup of coffee during the hot summer! Iced coffee is just sooo refreshing. It’s cold, sweet, and full of caffeine. The combination of those three things all give you a big boost. It’s very refreshing.
Just what I need Monday afternoon when I’m schlepping my 10-pound backpack home from school after Gym. But no more! School is over!!!!!!!
Wooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s OVER!!! ALL OVER!!!!! NO MORE SCHOOL!!!
I took my last final (Math) this morning, and then got my PBA back (big project) and I go 100!!! What a way to end the year. 100 out of 100!!!!!!!!!! Yeah! (And there wasn’t any extra credit either.)
Anyway, that’s not the point. IT’S OVER!!! And we go to Colorado on Friday! Then, camp!!! Yay!!! Here are a couple of little dancing emoticons to show my happiness:

I’m not quite sure what this video is, but when I saw it on my Uncle Bob’s blog I just couldn’t let it up. The video is from SNL, and it parodies this scene from the O.C. second season finale. The music is by Imogen Heap.
I don’t know why this video is so devishly stupid and funny, but it is.
UPDATE: NBC took down their free advertising. Sorry!
Awesome list. Here are some of my favorites:
- Your family don’t call anymore, they just check your blog. (Haha - Uncle Bob and Grandma and Grandpa)
- You think Nike should make a shirt that says “just blog it”.
- You would buy it if they did.
- You’re listening to the travel news and get excited by the phrase “heavy traffic”.
- You think “I wonder how this’ll look on Flickr?” when posing for photos. (All the time.)
- When asked to feed the dog, you think “RSS or Atom?”
- You include ownership of your blog in your will
- You finish reading this and go to make a post with your own additions…

- From JonathanDeamer.com
Yep, here are my own:
- You don’t go on any websites anymore, you just check your RSS feeds.
- You know what a Tumblelog is.
- You have one.
- You instinctively read “weblog” as “we-blog” instead of “web-log”
Yes, I’m a hypocrite.
- It’s made by Apple.
- It’s a cell phone.
- It’s an iPod.
- It’s a widescreen and touchscreen iPod.
- I can email with it.
- It’s a web browser.
- It’s a camera.
- It’s every other freakin’ thing in the world also.
- It looks really cool.
- It’s incredibly shiny.
Don’t forget why I don’t want one.
