Second Life

Second Life. It looks pretty cool. Wish I could get it for something like $10 a month, but of course, at xxx West xxth street, apartment 6x in New York City, that’s out of the question. Still, maybe this blog post will be able to convince the evil people in charge to join this online 3D community thing that looks cool and is cool. Maybe not.

Yeah, I’m bored and at a lost for words. It’s 10:00 on Monday night and I’m tired, but I forced myself to write this post, just for you - for the dearest reader. That’s right -> YOU <-. Yeah, I’m bored. I’ve been bored for the past week (and a half) and will be for the next couple of weeks. Blah. Why are you even reading my blog? If you’ve gotten this far, you must be just as bored, or more bored than me. Maybe we can get together and play some go fish (I don’t know how to play poker) or maybe war. We could play connect four, but Aaron broke it the last time he was here. He also broke the Ice Cream Popper toy - it looks like an ice cream cone, but you press a button and the soft foam that’s supposed to be the ice cream pops up, up and away!!! I got it during our trip upstate about a month ago. Speaking of which, i just finished the movie about that, using Adobe Premiere. It’s 18 minutes long. I know, ouch. Premiere is cool. Think of this as the “premiere of movies made using premiere by me”. How’s that? I could put that in the footnotes of the video when I export it tommorow. Do videos even have footnotes? I know word documents do, but I don’t think that videos do. I guess you could hide some text in the code somewhere, but no one would see it, and the description is out of the question because the description is where the description of the movies goes, hence it being called “description.” Am I rambling? I hope not. I hope I’m not boring you. If I was though you would have stopped when I did the weird pointy things to the “YOU” earlier.

Okay, it’s time to go now. I enjoyed having a monologue with you, and hope that “next time you will sing with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! (alphabet song.) Just in case you think I’m crazy, I’m not. I’m just very bored. Sorry for thinking out loud, but hey - the 35th amendment says that you have the right to read and NOT read whatever you want, and it’s your fault if you read something that bores you to death. That’s not actually true, I just made that up. I have no idea what the 35th amendment is. Okay, enough. Time to go. Bye.

Movies, posts, and sorry

I know I haven’t posted for a whole week now, but I’m going to make up for it over the next couple of days. I’ve seen a bunch of movies recently including Scoop, Taxi and I’m going to see Match Point and A Hard Days Night. I may even finish Saving Private Ryan, and hopefully at least a couple of those will find their way to this blog, but you can definitely count on Scoop.

Also, a little life update: Camp has been over for a little bit over a week now, and I am B O R E D out of my mind. I’ve been watching a lot of tv. Oh - and I installed Battlefront again. I downloaded some mods for it from The Star Wars Battlefront Files to get some cool new weapons, play as a Jedi and get unlimited jet pack fuel, oh and some more maps. We go to Maine in a little bit under 3 weeks, and then | < - that's a wall right there, it's like I'm running and then | (BAM.)

I was also forced to get outside, so I walked around the block and took some photos. They’re not THAT bad.

Oh - and if I’m up to it I might post a review of the first book in the Maximum Ride series, which I just got into. They’re some pretty good books about some freaky DNA-altered kids who have wings and can fly - it makes more sense if you read the book.
